香脆法国长棍|French baguette from Clear Flour Bread
中国人吃的面包是软软的,美国人吃不软不硬的,欧洲人要吃脆脆的。


在波士顿,我终于发现了一家能把法国长棍做的很地道的面包房Clear Flour Bread,原来就藏在我寓所附近的一条小巷子里。
酒香不怕巷子深,当我某周六清晨八点半到店门口时,还没亮起营业的灯,但不一会儿,我身后居然排起了一长队顾主。在萧条经济的寒冬,这真是难得景象。
店里的面包姑娘已忙乎好久为开店做准备,没有带“炮筒”,透过有水气的玻璃门用iPhone照了一下,清晰度不够,但意境挺不错。

长棍切片,抹上香浓的爱尔兰黄油,经典。

My friend also recommended this bakery to me. Have you been to Flour, the one that’s famous for its sticky buns?

Not yet, Kelly. I work about 15 mins walk to Flour and I should pay a visit very soon.
